.. I assume that you are from hindi medium..

because if you are from english medium first thing first you have to improve your grammar with good english vocabulary..

first step you have to do ( in my opinion)

analyse your syllabus and go through all the previous year paper to know what you are dealing with..

Update yourself with current competitive environment and enhance your knowledge everyday through book (obviously syllabus books) and news paper (the hindu, indian express, times of india, hindustan times,)

solve mcq as soon as you complete your reading to know the level of absorbtion of knowledge in your brain..

maintain consistency, though sometimes it is harder thing to do but make sure to cover up next day if you skip it..

and last believe in yourself you can do anything just belive it that everything is possible through hard practice and goal oriented mindset...
