Treatment of electric burns depends upon the intensity of the burn injury.
In severe cases where the person shows no signs of breathing or response, begin CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). Keep the person warm and if the burn injury is exposed, cover the burned area with sterile bandage or a clean piece of cloth. Seek help of a doctor or rush to the nearby hospital.
In less severe cases, rinse the burn area under cool water until the pain subsides. Then after drying the area, apply an antibiotic ointment and apply a light bandage.
