Discount of 10% = 90

Discount of 15% of 90 = 76.5.

Single discount = 100 - 76.5

Cost of the object for discount 10% = 90% Of Original price .

Again allowing a discount of 15% on remaining 90% =15/100*90=13.5

Now the cost becomes =90-13.5=76.5 %

So Total discount to replace 10% and 15% is 23.5% [ 100-76.5]
