(NH4)OH (aq) ,Ni(OH)2 is a green precipitate and Fe(OH)3 is a orange precipitate , upon addition of NH4OH Ni(OH)2 dissolves in it, Ni2+ forming a complex [Ni(NH4)4] 2+ while Fe(OH)3 doesn't dissolve in it
