Answer:

Fisher should save money whenever and wherever they could. They could also add to this income by taking up alternate occupation especially during off seasons. To break out of the poverty trap or reliance on middlemen they need to learn to be financially independent.

Answer: Fisher should save money whenever and wherever they could. They could also add to this income by taking up alternate occupation especially during off seasons. To break out of the poverty trap or reliance on middlemen they need to learn to be financially independent. Fishermen should come together and set up a cooperative and sell their catch directly to traders 3/4 times a week. They should arrange for storage of the catch properly, ensure proper access for transportation. The members of the cooperative could take efforts to develop some business skills to improve their earning. These steps would definitely help in breaking the dependence of fishermen on the middlemen.
