What solutions would you suggest to the fishermen to not depend on the middlemen for
money?

Fisher should save money whenever and wherever they could. They could also add to this income by taking up alternate occupation especially during off seasons. To break out of the poverty trap or reliance on middlemen they need to learn to be financially independent. Fishermen should come together and set up a cooperative and sell their catch directly to traders 3/4 times a week. They should arrange for storage of the catch properly, ensure proper access for transportation. The members of the cooperative could take efforts to develop some business skills to improve their earning. These steps would definitely help in breaking the dependence of fishermen on the middlemen.

Middlemen earn three times more than the catcher. They store the fishes temporarily,segregate them and transport them to distant places and sell them. The fishermen should know the ways to store the fishes to prevent them from spoiling. They should come together and transport them with their efforts so to earn more. The financial condition of them is not so good. So,they have know the business and ways to earn more from what they collect. They should use  every possibility wisely to earn more. They should go to sea as many times as possible and catch more fishes so to live their lives greatly.
