from the knowledge we all know that only some solvents can disslove non polar gases. so hexane is such a solvent which is having the capacity to dissolve a non polar gas like methane

Methane gets dissolve in water. The solubility of methane in water is called as the polar solvent. It dissolves at 10 degrees C in the polar solvent. That means 50 degrees F.

Methane is inversely proportional to the water. As the temperature of the water increases the solubility of methane gas that is CH4 decreases. The non-polar solvent dissolves in a non-polar gas like methane.
