As a child, Mandela lived inside a kraal with his two sisters and mother. His childhood was spent with other boys, herding and tending cattle until the age of seven, when he was sent to study in a Methodist school.

Though he was free to go around with other boys until he went to school, it must have been a protected life within the kraal, following tribal customs and beliefs. His school life must have been strict as well as it was a Methodist school.

Nelson Mandela had all the freedom, which he enjoyed as a boy.

He used to pay in the fields, had fights with other kids, graze the cattle and he also learned to use the arrow and the bow.

The most fascinating thing about his childhood was that he grew up amongst close to the nature and learned things in playfully manner.
