Ali had been a clever and skillful shikari in his times . Thus, he had committed the sun of separating many lived ones . But he learnt a lesson and have up hunting when his only daughter Miriam married and went on to live with her husband in a regiment in punjab .
This was when he learnt that this whole universe is made up of love and that the grief of separation is inescapable . From then onwards he gave up hunting and spent his time sitting alone .
