Many steps have been taken by the government :-

1)National food security Act :- It is act that ensure the people to get their basic food Cheaply so that the people get their healthy life .The main aim of this act is to provide foodgrains to the people economicaly

2)public distributin system :- In this system the government provide food products very cheaply to the poor people. As the poor people don't Afford expensive food grains. so that's why the government established this act.

Many act are also taken when the tsunami occurs then the foodgrains are given to the people by many act .
