Germany was caught by a great depression and many people needed a job. They got employed into a military industry and both them and Hitler benefited from it. Also large number of them went into the military which was also in Hitler's favor. Then Hitler came up with a legal fraud called “MEFO Bills” so he could secretly rearm. Then he militarized Rheinland and Sudetenland while others stood silent. Then Anschluss provided him more factories, manpower and territory which strengthened his military. Other countries thought that if they allow him all of this, it will quench his thirst. But hungry wolf always wants more, so he demanded Danzig and finally others ran out of patience and then we all know what happened next…
