About Jo
Jo's father, Jack told her bedtime stories every night. One day he happened to tell her the story of Roger Skunk and the wizard. Roger skunk was a small animal with a very bad smell and was avoided by other little animals. So, on Roger's request, the wizard changed his foul smell into the pleasant rose smell. But Roger's mother was not happy with this and hit the wizard on the head and made him change the smell of Roger's into his original one.
Story Jo wanted to hear
Jo did not like the story to end this way. She wanted the wizard to hit the mother on the head, and leave Roger with the smell of roses. So she insisted her father tell the same story the next day with the ending she wanted.
Father's reaction
But her father was not satisfied and insisted that the story end this way as mothers know what is needed for the child.
Jo was not happy with the ending of the story her dad had told her now she wanted her dad to narrate her a story in which the wizard would hit the mom.
However Jack her father comforted her saying the ending that Jo wanted would change the original story. When Jo insisted that she wanted a different ending her father said he would consider her request the next day.
