Answer:

The structures present in both animal and plant cells are as follows:

1. They both have cell membranes. The structure of the cell membrane mainly involves lipid bilayer, proteins and carbohydrates chain. They are semi- permeable.

2. They both contain Mitochondria. It is the power-house of the cells.

3. Both of them contain nucleus. The nucleus comprises of Nucleolus, chromatin reticulum.

4. Both of them contain Endoplasmic Reticulum and Golgi Body. They are involved in post-translational modifications of proteins.

5. Both the cells contain ribosomes, which is the protein synthesising machinery.

Mitochondria

Cytoplasm

Golgi apparatus

Nucleus

Ribosomes

Vacuole

Endoplasmic recticulum : It is a network of membranes found throughout the cytoplasm.

Mitochondria : An organelle containing enzymes responsible for producing energy.

Cytoplasm : The jelly like substance between the nucleus and the cell membrane.

Golgi apparatus : Its main function is to receive, pack and distribute chemical products within as well as outside the cell.

Nucleus : Nucleus is called the control centre of the cell.

Ribosomes : These are small round structures and site of protein synthesis.

Vacuole : These are the storage sacs found in the cytoplasm.
