Gastic gland secreates 3 main substances :

● Hydrochloric acid : it makes the gastic juice acidic in nature and alsp provides acidic medium to inactive pepsenogen .

● Mucus : It protects the inner wall of stomach from the effect of HCl and prevents the erosion of its inner lining.

● Pepsin : It is main protien digesting enzyme which is responsible for the break down of protien in our stomach.
