The captain had many complaints regarding the crew and Mr.Trelawney. The captain was not well informed about the destination, the doctor and Mr. Trelaway did not know what he was doing, he preferred to hire his crew and he did not trust his first mate as he was more friendly than required with the crew. Moreover, Mr.Trelaway was talked too much with the crew, and he leaked the details of the island to crew.
