FIRST CALCULATE THE SIMPLE INTEREST LENT OUT-
P=2100
R=5%
TIME = 16 MONTHS OR 4/3 YEARS
S.I.= PRT/100= 2100×5×4/100×3
=21×5×4/3
=7×5×4
=35×4
=140 RS
NOW, S.I. = 140 RS
WE HAVE-
P=?
R=25/4%
T=2 YEARS
S.I.= 140
S.I.=PRT/100
140=P×25×2/100×4
140=P×2/4×4
140=P/2×4
140=P/8
140×8= P
1120=P
SUM LENT OUT IS R.S. 1120
