Let the sum of money be x
then,
given
p= x
r =12 1/2 =25%
t= 4 years
and,
other one is
p.= 8650
t=5 years
now the SI is similar in both ( given in ques ) so
(x× 25×4 )/2×100= (8650 × 8× 12)/ 100
= x/2 = 5190
x =5190×2
x= 10380
THE SUM= 10380
