What sum of money will yeild a simple interest of Rs1155 in 3 years 6 months at 11% p.a.?

Simple interest = (principle x interest rate x term)/100

1155=(px11x3.5)/100

(1155x100)/11×3.5=P

3000 = P

S. I = ₹1155
T = 7/2y
R = 11%

 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: S. I = \frac{ P \times R \times T}{100} \\ = >1155 = \frac{P \times11 \times 7 }{100 \times 2} \\ = > P = \frac{1155 \times 100 \times 2}{11 \times 7} \\ = > P = Rs.147000.
