The simple interest is given as Rs7840 in 2 years at the rate of 25/4 %

We know that,

S.I.= P×R×T/100

Substituting the values in the above formula, we get,

7840 = P×25×2/4×100

P= 7840×4×100/25×2

P = Rs62720

Answer:

 \large{Simple  \: Interest = ₹\: 7840}

 \large{Rate =  6\frac{1}{4}\%  =  \frac{25}{4} \%}

 \large{Time = 2 \: years}

 \large {Principal \:  =  \frac{100 \times SI}{R  \times T}}

 \large{Principal =  \frac{100 \times 7840 \times 4}{25 \times 2}}

 \large{Principal = Rs \: 62720}
