What supernatural stories did mrs. singh tell ruskin bond ?

Mrs. Singh who lived in Astley Hall would narrate him many Ghost stories.  She was fond of telling stories that had happened in her village.  Many of these stories, Bond had used in his story. 

He had written collections of ghost story in “Tales Told at Twilight and A Season of Ghosts”.  At “Twilight”, he had written how Mrs. Singh narrated the ghost stories by sitting on a charpoy, smoking hookah. There were ghosts of women who were immoral and named as “Churels”, they used to walk naked, ”with their feet facing backwards” etc. were told by her.  She believed in these and had narrated that she had personal experiences too.
