Answer to the question: Trevor’s village needs more farmland to grow food for their growing population, but they also need land for housing. The village is facing a lack of natural resources. Here natural resources is referred to the land which is required both for the construction of houses and development of the farmland. Trevor's village may be having a lot of population for the reason he is facing a lack of land in the village. Or rather he might be exporting goods to outside his village
