unit…..we use the formula……

density of liquid =[weight in air - weight in water..÷ weight in air - weight in liquid ]× density of water….

1.5 =[( 50 - wt in liquid )÷ (50 - 40)]× 1

1.5 ×10 = 50 - wt in liquid

Wt in liquid. = 50 -15

Wt of liquid = 35.

specific gravity=density of substance /density of water

therefore density of liquid =1.5xdensity of water

also boyount force=10

and in new liquid will be=1.5x10=15g

hence new weight will be 50-15=35g
