Hi
Pole Star is also known as DHRUVA TRARA. In hindu mythology it is the star of a boy Dhruva who was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. It is believed to be the brightest star in sky.
To locate the Pole star using Saptarshi Constellation take the topmost two stars of quadrilateral and make a straight line downwards in the north direction. The Pole star always stays on straight line which passes through the two topmost star of Saptarshi Constellation. Be sure that you make this imaginary straight line downwards in North direction and finally you will find your Pole Star.
It is very interesting to spot stars using different Constellation.
