Explanation:

In this story a giant has a big and beautiful garden which he doesn't want to share with anyone and make huge wall stand around it hence no children could come inside it. But the giant faces sorrow because the spring never comes to his garden, the one who came are hail, snow and wind strom all together winter.

Ultimately some children come to his garden through a small hole and also Jesus as one of them. Then he breaks the wall as he understood spring will only come when he'll allow children to come. After a few happy years he became old he died while meeting Jesus.

The main purpose of the story is to teach children to share their experiences, happiness and off sorrows with everyone and not to be selfish
