Answer:

Life could not exist on Earth without trees because they produce most of the oxygen that humans and wildlife breathe. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen using the process of photosynthesis. There would also be no rain without trees since trees absorb water from the soil and release it through evapotranspiration. Water vapor released through evapotranspiration is the major mechanism by which air is remoistened. Forests act as giant air filters for the world. Trees purify the air by absorbing pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide, reducing pollution. Trees also help prevent topsoil erosion because they break the force of wind and rain on soil, their roots bind the soil, and their decayed, falling leaves are absorbed by the earth and enrich the soil. Trees conserve rainwater and reduce water runoff and sediment deposit after storms.Additionally, trees provide a supply of lumber, seeds, and fruit. Further, dead trees that fall and get buried in the soil eventually provide fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum products, among other things. Trees can also act as noise filters. Trees muffle urban clamor almost as well as walls do. Trees planted at strategic locations can decrease loud noises from airports and highways.

Answer:

We can not even imagine life on earth without trees. Because the trees produce most of the oxygen for us. Oxygen is essential for humans and other organisms. Banyan tree is one of the largest oxygen producing trees. Banyan tree remains on earth for a very long time, i.e. it has a very long life. Many Banyan trees have been found thousands of years of age.   Banyan tree is considered an immortal tree. The Banyan tree is found mostly in hot tropical areas. One of the qualities of this tree is that under the winter season, there is a feeling of warmth under this tree and in the summer season, coldness is felt under this tree. Like other trees, the Banyan tree absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and releases oxygen through the photosynthesis process. The Banyan tree is very big and it is inhabited by many birds. Thus, it is the most visited shelter for birds. The Banyan tree absorbs water from the soil and releases it in the atmosphere through evaporation which again becomes water and rains on the earth in the form of rain. The Banyan tree cleans the air by absorbing pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. The roots of the banyan bind the soil and the fallen leaves become manure and enrich the soil. Thus we see that there are many properties in the banyan tree, which is hard to imagine life without Banyan on earth.
