Well, the title itself may be bit misleading but a lot of people believe that he did. My personal understanding is a bit on the moderate scale--something that Buddha himself propagated, saying that we should leave the extremities and choose the middle path.

Buddha was not against Vedas as such. But he did not believe in blind faith. He restored the path of reason, logic and experience.

He did not like the idea of usefulness of rituals as independent tools. He also believed in their role as a subsidiary and not the primary tool.

He also rejected the idea of caste system. He believed that everybody is equal.

Rejection and disagreeing are two different connotations to the emotions that a person may have. In reality, the Buddha disagreeing with lots of beliefs and concepts of Vedas but he did not reject the Vedas.
