All thunderstorms, severe or not, musthave three conditions present in orderto develop. The first necessarycondition is moisture in the lower and mid levels of the atmosphere. As air rises in a thunderstorm updraft, moisture condenses into small water drop which form clouds (and eventually precipitation).
