If they are a friend/classmate you know, and are sort of sure they are suicidal not because of being tortured/abused at home, inform their parents.
There are self help websites also, where they can reach out for help and share their feelings.
You can recommend them some suicide hotlines, if they are in crisis. If someone you know shows symptoms of being suicidal, then please try to do something to help.
Suicide hotlines is actually a good option. But before that its better to talk to them and understand what problem they are having after which we can consult an adult

You should talk to that person and try to know what difficulty he/she is having. This might be a little difficult at first but you should continue motivating that person and show him/her that they have got a beautiful reason to live in this world.
