Answer:

(a) 5 cm

as the length of DC is 10 cm and opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal so AB will also be 10 cm

and ATQ M is the mid point of AB it divides AB itno half which is 10/2 =5 cm

(b) In this part you have been given the area of the parallelogram And you already know the base so yoh can find out the height by applying the formula of area of parallelogram.

And once you find the height you can put the height's value in the triangle MCB. as you already know the base of triangle MCB which is MB you can take out the area of the triangle by formula A=1/2 *B*H

After taking out the area of the triangle just subtract the area of the triangle with that of the parallelogram and you will get the area of AMCD.

Answer:

ans a) the length of AM is 5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

length of DC = length of AB

(opposite sides in parallelogram are equal )

So,

10 = length of AB

According to the question = AM = MB

10÷2 = 5 [ 10 ÷ 2 ( 2 sides AM , MB )]

AM = 5
