His mother , children , grandchildren felt happy to see him . all of them tried to search his box , for the gifts . 

He says " look children , ours is a large family . Even at meal time, we have to eat by turns or set crowded knocking our knees together . I wish to build a house our of my earnings , and it has to be a storeyed house ; the usual three - portioned house won't be adequate for us ".
