the mughals had 2 traditions of succession they were copercenery and primogeniture

Premogeniture is the method were the eldest son gets all the properties owned by his father.

Copprecenary is the method follwed today where all the chidren get equal share of his/her father's death.

Hope it helps you pls mark it as brainliest

The mughals did not believe in the rule of primogeniture , where the eldest son inherited his father's estate. Instead they followed the mughal and timurid custom of coparcenary inheritance , or a division of the inheritance among all the the sons. (Coparcenary - joint heirship and primogeniture-the state of being the firstborn child) just for knowledge . I think this will do .
