What treat did Toto have during winter evenings??

Toto was a monkey owned by the author Ruskin Bond’s grandfather. He was bought for a sum of Rs.5/- from a tonga driver.

During the cold winter evenings, Toto was given a special treat by the author’s grandmother. This was a big bowl of warm water for his  bath. The monkey would test the temperature with his hand and then enter the bowl slowly till the water covered him up to his neck.

He enjoys to bath on the warm water on the cold winter evenings which is just like a big treat for him at the time of winter season.

He tests the temperature of the water bought by the grandmother first and then enters into the bathtub by placing the leg one by one to start bathing.
