Turner's syndrome :-

  • When there is depletion of 1 chromosomes in human beings out of diploid chromosomes, then this syndrome occurs. This, this is an example of monosomy (2n - 1). In which there is presence of 45 chromosomes in human body.

  • This syndrome is found in females in which ovary gets immatured along with lack of female secondary sexual characters. Such a female become sterile.

  • I. e. Unable to produce offspring. Approximately 1-2% women get pregnant with Turner syndrome

  • Turner syndrome test is done by the involve of blood samples.
