Let the numbers be x and y.

X+Y= 3/5

X-Y= 12/5

2x= 3/5+12/5

2x= 15/5

X= 15/5/2

X= 15*2/5

X= 6

Now to find value of y.

6-y= 12/5 which is 2.4

6-y= 2.4

6= 2.4+y

6-2.4= y

3.6= y
