Given fraction is 24/125

= > Prime factorization of 24 =  2 *  2 * 2 * 3.

= > Prime factorization of 125 = 5 * 5 * 5.

LCM(24,125) = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 5 * 5 * 5

                     = 3000.

Now,

Multiply the denominator by 3000 = 1/125 * 3000

                                                           = 24.

Now,

Multiply the numerator and denominator by 24, we get

= > 24/125

= > 24 * 24/125 * 24

= > 576/3000

= > 0.192.

Therefore it is a terminating decimal.

Hope this helps!
