Answer :
When a solid is heated vacancy defeat arise. When some of the lattice sites are unoccupied, the crystal is said to have vacancy defect. This results decrease in density of crystal lattice. This is due to missing of cations and anions from their positions. A vacancy of one of the ions is accompanied by the vacancy of the oppositely charged ions so that electrical neutrality is still maintained. Thus, overall density increases.

Hey !!
On heating a solid, vacancy defect is produced in the crystal. This is because on heating, some lattice sites become vacant. As a result of this defect, the density of the substance decreases because some atoms or ions leave the crystal completely.
Hope it helps you !!
