• A joint family is not much common nowadays but was the tradition in older days. Here, extended family and relatives also stayed together. However, the members sometimes had to compromise on personal needs and space.

3. Single-Parent family

• In today's world, many parents are single parents. They single-handedly manage their children. This scenario can occur if an unmarried person adopts a child or after the divorce of a couple.
