during Swadeshi movement a tricolour flag was designed that basically contained red, green & yellow colour with eight lotuses and a crescent moon that represented eight provinces of British India and Hindus and Muslims....It also had a spinning wheel that indicated about d Gandhian philosophy of Swadeshi and self -dependency of Indians.
