Dry goods like nuts and hard candies are not perishable, but seafood, dairy, fresh vegetables, and meat are given to ship.

Typical menu for the day onboard ships with full Indian crew.

Breakfast:

1)Eggs on order (scrambled eggs, Omlette, boiled). Incase you are not an officer you will have to make the eggs yourself.

2) Poha or Upma or Noodles or Alu Puri or Stuffed Parantha (In my 7 years of career at sea I had only a single cook who made paranthas)

3) Different kind of Cereals with milk.

4) Juice.

5) Bread and Butter

Lunch :

1)Rice

2) Yellow Dal (Pulses)

3) Sabji (Cooked vegetable)

4) Fish Curry or Fried Fish.

5) Fruit

Dinner:

Almost same as Lunch but rice is replaced by Roti and Fish by Chicken curry or Mutton curry. Also, dessert is served.

hope so it will help u
