It's mainly a peptide which acts as an anti- coagulant. And the toxic thing might be lepirudin.

I hope this helps you!

It is a peptide that appears as the anti-coagulant.

When it comes to a toxic thing, it is a lepirudin.

Hirudin exemplifies the antithrombin anticoagulants.

In fact, it is a type of peptide of sixty five amino acids with 3 disulfide bonds.

It is actually derived from saliva of medicinal leech.

On the other hand, Hirudin forms the biomolecular complex along with thrombin.
