Heavy rainfall refers to the place being wet and damp and the houses built in those regions with heavy rainfall should be able to resist them. Some of the examples are,

  • The water damage is reduced by dry proofing.
  • The roofs are steep so that the rain water does not get collected on the roof.
  • The construction of  stilt legs to protect the floor from heavy rainfall by raising the height.
