Depletion of ozone layer will lead to global warming which will, in turn, cause climate change that will result in the melting of polar ice caps with huge chunks of icebergs several kilometers across breaking off from the mainland. This is already taking place around the Arctic and in Antarctica. Many forms of polar animals are now at risk since the increase in the volume of ocean water is causing the disappearance of their habitat.
