What type of precautions will you take while transferring acids into water

1) The reaction of adding an acid to water is a highly exothermic one.
2)Hence always an acid should be added to water and not water to the concentrated acid directly
3)While adding acid to water there should be constant stirring.
4)Also, if water will be added to the acid directly then the acid might splash out and cause severe burns and also cause excessive local heating.
5)Thus utmost care should be taken while handling an acid and while diluting it.
