MAWSYNRAM IS LOCATED TO THE SOUTH OF KHASI HILLS ,MEANS IT IS TOWARDS THE WINDWARD SIDE OF MOUNTAIN THEREFORE IT RECEIVES A LOT OF RAINFALL.
