What type of safety devices are used in electric circuits?Explain it.

1) A fuse is used as a safety device which when there is high current in the circuit, it melts and breaks the circuit and prevents from overloading.
2) An earth wire which is green in colour is a safety device which sends the high ampere current in the earth and prevent us from short-circuit. This is mainly used in electrical heating devices or metallic device like soft iron, washing machines, etc.
