The Philosophers envisaged a society based on Freedom , equal laws and oppurtunities for all.

Philosophers such as John Locked an Jean Jacques Rousseau say that "A persons social position must depend on his merit "

His social contract says that The power shouldnt be given to just one single person , Powers should be equally divided in the government

Thus , they came up with the Legislative , Executive and Judiciary Model.

These ideas were discussed almost everywhere coffe shops , salons , banquets etc.

All these philosophers had one thing in common -

They all beleived that nobody should be priviledged by birth
