wheat is a Rabi crop since the temperature required for growing wheat is between 10 to 15 degree Celsius during sowing and 21 degree Celsius to 26 degree Celsius during ripening and it is grown in Alluvial soil and needs an annual average rainfall of 50 to 100 cm
rice is a kharif crop is the temperature required for rice is 16 degree to 20 degree Celsius during growing season and 18 degree to 32 degree Celsius doing ripening it needs rainfall from 150 to 200 CM it is grown in floody soils
