Metallic solids are electrical conductors, malleable, and ductile. They consists of an assemblage  of positive ions(kernels) immersed in a ‘sea’ of mobile electrons. Thus, each electron belongs to a number of positive ions & each positive ion belongs to a number of electronsThe force that binds a metal ion to a number of electrons within its sphere of influence is known as metallic bond. This force of attraction is sufficiently strong & is thus responsible for compact solid structure of metals & therefore these solids are good conductors, malleable & ductile in nature. For eg metals like copper, nickel etc.
Hope it helped

Metallic solids have these properties.

Explanation:

They are electrical conductors, are malleable and ductile, which means it could be drawn into thin wires. The metals are orderly free collection of positive ions surrounded by and held together by a sea of free electrons.
