  • Lets check ratio of coefficients

Equation 1 = 2x - y - 4 = 0

Equation 2 = 4x - 2y - 2 = 0

 \boxed { \bold{\red{ : \implies    \frac{a_{1}}{a_{2}}  =  \frac{2}{4}   =  \frac{1}{2} }}}

 \boxed { \bold{\blue{ : \implies    \frac{b_{1}}{b_{2}}  =  \frac{ - 1}{ - 2}   =  \frac{1}{2} }}}

 \boxed { \bold{ \green{ : \implies    \frac{c_{1}}{c_{2}}  =  \frac{ - 4}{   -2}   =  2}}}

Since ,

 \boxed { \bold{ :  \leadsto  \:  \frac{a_{1}}{a_{2}}  = \frac{b_{1}}{b_{2}}   \neq\frac{c_{1}}{c_{2}}    }}

° Lines are parallel that means that they won't intersect.
