Answer:

A system of linear equations has no solution when the graphs are parallel. Infinite solutions. A system of linear equations has infinite solutions when the graphs are the exact same line.

The lines of the equation will be coincident when the two linear equations have infinitely many solutions.

Solution: When two equations ax+by+c=0 and px+qy+r=0 to have infinitely many solutions, the necessary condition is

 \frac{a}{p}  =  \frac{b}{q}  =  \frac{c}{r}

When the lines have infinitely many solutions line L1 can be expressed as kL2 where k is a constant.

For example- 2x+2y = 4 and 4x+4y = 8 have infinite solutions.

When the lines are drawn on the graph, they overlap each other representing the same lines on the plane. The lines are said to be coincident on each other.
